ABOUT MOUNTAIN BIKERS OF ALEXANDRA

Mountain bikers of Alexandra started out in 2000 with just a few people coming together to do what they love. Little did they know that it would grow into the thriving Mountain Bike Club it is today. Our dedicated members enjoy meeting often for different events and activities.

Passion and enthusiasm go hand-in-hand with everything we do.

 

Our door is always open to new members, no matter their experience level. We are proud to bring together people from all over Central Otago and beyond. Come join us at our next event — we’d love to share all that Mountain bikers of Alexandra has to offer.

The Mountainbikers of Alexandra are very active in preparing and maintaining trails in the local area.

Many tracks have been established including the award winning Flat Top Hill trails which has been included in the Kennett Brothers top 10 trails in NZ.

With a current membership at over 500 persons the club has grown considerably over the last 6 months with the advent of the Matangi Mountainbike Park and our local area is recognised as a wonderful playground for all ages and abilities.
