• Local Laps:
   

'Coming at ya. Locals Laps; probably the best mid-week social

enduro series to be held in Alexandra this summer.

We are looking for a few volunteers to help with registration,

timing, marshalling etc. Hit us up if you are in a position to help.

• The Prospector
   

3 days, 3 epic stages, The Prospector is the ultimate XC mountain bike challenge. Following in the footsteps of the early gold mining prospectors who carved and constructed many of the trails in the hills that we can enjoy on our bikes.

It is race like no other in New Zealand, you will experience incredible highs and lows as you and your team mate take on the challenge and find the reward of completing three days of racing. Stages that take in the very best of this unique riding location renowned for golden dusty trails, thyme scented hillsides, and big scenery will challenge riders in many ways, ensuring that only the most complete riders are crowned Prospector Champions.

After bringing the epic in 2022, we are stoked to confirm we will be back for 3 more amazing days of Mountain biking from the 10th-12th March 2023!

• Crankworx Summer Series
   

The new Matangi Station MTB  opened in summer 2021/2022 and has unearthed some of Alexandra, and Central Otago’s most raw, rocky and technical trails. For years local riders have said the trails on Matangi Station are world class, now riders will get to find out for themselves. Alexandra is a cyclist’s haven with riders coming from all over the world to get amongst their famous tracks; from easy-riders strolling through the countryside to mountain bikers scrambling over single-track. Whatever speed you choose to get away from it all.
